Reported by Hu Xiheng and Qian Bo, journalists from China Civil Aviation News and China Civil Aviation Network: From November 23 to 25, the inaugural Shanghai International Commercial Aerospace Industry Exhibition (hereafter referred to as "Shanghai Commercial Airshow") was held at the Shanghai Exhibition Center. The Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) showcased its latest offerings under the theme "Innovative Development: Building a Comprehensive Provider of Civil Aviation Equipment," featuring exhibits from its civil aircraft, airborne systems, and specialized supporting units.

At the exhibition, the Aviation Industry Group implemented comprehensive planning around a new aviation industry organizational structure—centered on the model "prime integrator—system supplier—specialized supplier"—and divided the event into one main aircraft exhibition area, along with additional sections dedicated to system integration and specialized product displays.

In the main exhibition area, key models such as the "Xinzhou" series, AG600, AC series, and the "Wing Loong" series took center stage, showcasing the aviation industry group's flagship products in commercial aircraft, general-purpose aircraft, civil helicopters, and civilian drones. This display underscores the company's commitment to implementing the central government’s innovation-driven development strategy and its dedication to supporting the nation’s specialized civil aircraft initiatives. Meanwhile, the onboard systems and specialized exhibition zones employed a dynamic and immersive approach—combining virtual and physical elements—to provide a comprehensive view of operational scenarios and underlying business logic within aircraft systems. The exhibit featured three key components: scaled-down models of onboard systems, interactive virtual simulations, and static informational panels. Notably, the physical models of aircraft onboard systems used flowing lights in different colors to visually represent the six distinct flight phases—startup, takeoff, climb, cruise, descent, and landing—enabling visitors to clearly grasp how information flow, control signals, and energy pathways operate seamlessly within the system. Additionally, attendees could explore detailed information about specific equipment by navigating through large display screens, offering an intuitive understanding of both the onboard systems and their individual components.

Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the Aviation Industry Group has consistently and earnestly studied and implemented the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Driven by innovation and pursuing high-quality development, the group is expanding its civil aircraft industry and providing strategic support for the advancement of domestically produced large aircraft. Through this exhibition, the Aviation Industry Group will further deepen exchanges and collaboration with Shanghai and the broader Yangtze River Delta region, continuing to refine its layout within the civil aviation industry while driving the optimization and upgrading of the civil aircraft industrial chain. Ultimately, the group remains committed to contributing its expertise toward building a world-class transportation powerhouse.
