On March 31, a grand ceremony was held in Xi’an High-tech Industrial Development Zone to mark the mass rollout of Zhongke Power’s single-cylinder air-cooled rotary engine and the ignition of its twin-cylinder rotary engine. This breakthrough in cutting-edge technology heralds another shining moment for China’s indigenous aviation power industry!
Today, the low-altitude economy is booming, and the rotary engine is hailed as the “crown jewel” of aviation propulsion—yet its core technologies have long been monopolized by foreign firms. Zhongke Power has been deeply engaged in this field for many years, successfully overcoming numerous critical bottlenecks in sealing, heat dissipation, material fatigue, and other areas, achieving 100% domestic production of core components and completely breaking the overseas technology blockade.
Two major milestones were simultaneously achieved at the ceremony:
✅ Single-cylinder engine officially rolls off the production line in mass quantities
Leaders of the Xi’an High-tech Industrial Development Zone unveiled the ZKQ231F (30 kW) and ZKQ301F (37 kW) models. These products have successfully completed high-altitude test flights and rigorous long-endurance validation, are widely suited for applications such as logistics and inspection missions as well as emergency rescue operations, and have now entered full-scale mass production and delivery.
✅ Successful ignition of the twin-rotor engine
With the guests serving as witnesses, the twin-cylinder engine started smoothly and operated stably, marking a key breakthrough in the development of our domestically designed high-power model.
Founder Shi Yongqiang stated: The company has now established a full-power product portfolio ranging from 20 kW to 60 kW, covering core applications such as light-duty drones, regional logistics, and low-altitude general aviation. With robust capabilities in systematic R&D and mass production, the company is fully committed to supporting the implementation of the national low-altitude economy strategy.
This breakthrough also serves as a vivid demonstration of the Shaanxi model for science and technology innovation, which integrates university-driven innovation, alumni empowerment, and government-led strategic planning. At the event, High-tech Asset Management and the Alumni Economy Promotion Association stated that they will continue to empower enterprise development, help Zhongke Power grow into a leading player in the industrial chain, and foster synergistic development among industry clusters such as precision manufacturing and avionics systems integration.

Building on the new starting point of the 15th Five-Year Plan, Zhongke Power will continue to invest heavily in R&D, accelerate the test flight certification and market rollout of its twin-cylinder models, and drive the large-scale mass production of its full product lineup.
